R The RAPTURE . . . WHAT IS IT ?
The rapture of the church is the next major event to take place in biblical prophecy. It is the catching away of the saved from this earth by the Lord Jesus Christ before a great and terrible time called the tribulation befalls this earth.
It will happen unannounced, in a moment, in a split second :
1 Cor 15:51-5251 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

God became man in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ in an event that is called the incarnation. We celebrate that event at Christmas.
Jesus came to be the savior of the world. He was rejected and executed as a criminal although he was guilty of nothing. After three days he was raised from the dead and later ascended back into heaven to the Father.
That was Jesus’ first advent but he promised to return and deal with the sin problem that has plagued mankind since the fall in the Garden of Eden.
Seven years of tribulation are prophesied to come upon this earth, trouble unlike anything ever before, and then Jesus will return and rid the earth of evil and restore the earth. He will then rule and reign in His Millennial Kingdom for a thousand years.
Since Jesus first advent, all those who have trusted Him for salvation have been watching for Him in the Rapture which is his promise to those who have trusted Him. He will remove His people from this earth to heaven before the dreaded seven years of tribulation begins.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-174:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. The Bible foretold that things would get worse and worse as time went on leading up to that dreaded seven year tribulation. With the condition of the world today there can be little doubt that time is running out and we are in that time leading up to the tribulation. Are you ready ? Are you saved ? Or will you be left behind ?Follow the A B C 's of salvation and be ready. The Rapture could happen at any moment !
